DOT’s Brodi Fontenot to be Appointed Ass’t Treasury Secretary for Mgmt

President Barack Obama is set to appoint Brodi Fontenot, currently assistant secretary for administration at the Transportation Department, to the assistant secretary for management position at the Treasury Department.

An announcement posted Thursday on the White House blog listed Fontenot among other potential administration appointees.

Fontenot, who was previously nominated as chief financial officer at Treasury, is also DOT’s chief human capital officer and senior sustainability officer.

He joined DOT in 2009 and has worked as deputy assistant secretary for management and budget then deputy assistant secretary for administration at the department prior to his current role.

He has served as an analyst for the Government Accountability Office and the Senate committee on budget.
