Janice Glover-Jones to Become Full-Time DIA CIO

Janice Glover-Jones, acting chief information officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency since October, will assume the CIO role on a permanent basis starting on Dec. 28.

The 28-year DIA veteran is also the agency’s deputy CIO and will continue to oversee its daily information technology operations and budget, DIA said Tuesday.

She previously held the positions of budget analyst, intelligence officer, senior program manager and deputy chief financial executive at the agency.

Glover-Jones joined the federal government in 1984 as an administrative assistant at the Commerce Department.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland and a certification in advanced public policy leadership from George Washington University and the Brookings Institute.
