Allan Landon, a partner at Community BanCapital, has been nominated to serve as a governor on the board of the Federal Reserve System.

Landon previously served as chairman and CEO of Bank of Hawaii Corp. between 2004 and 2010 after he held the roles of president and chief operating, financial and risk officer from 2000 to 2004, the White House said Tuesday.

Landon was also the CFO of First American Corp. and its First American National Bank subsidiary between 1998 and 2000.

He became a partner at Ernst & Young LLP in 1984 and worked at the firm through 1998.
