Jonathan Carver, a former director of financial services at analytics-advisory firm Summit LLC, is joining the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency as chief financial officer.

He served as CFO of the Small Business Administration before he joined Summit last year, the company said.

At SBA, he oversaw the agency’s budget, financial reporting systems and performance strategies and also held the roles of performance improvement officer and chief acquisition officer during his tenure there.

The nearly two-decade public sector veteran also serves on the U.S. Chief Financial Officers Council, the Performance Improvement Council and the U.S. Chief Acquisition Officers Council.
