Robert Stein has retained his role as chair of the Defense Business Board following a confirmation from the Defense Department.Nancy Killefer and Cynthia Trudell have also been named vice chairs of the DBB to help Stein further the board’s various programs and goals, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
“I am pleased that Mr. Stein will continue his outstanding service as chairman and that we can welcome two new vice chairs with impeccable business credentials and experience to the DBB,†said David Tillotson III, deputy chief management officer.
Killefer previously served as a senior partner of McKinsey & Company Inc. and Trudell is the executive vice president, human resources and chief human resources officer of PepsiCo.
Established in 2002, the DBB advises the defense secretary and other senior department leaders on private sector best business practices that could be applicable to the department’s operations.
