NSA Clears Hypori Platform to Manage Classified Mobile Govt Data

mobile securityThe National Security Agency has approved a Hypori cloud environment application to help defense agencies manage and secure mobile information over classified networks.

Hypori said Wednesday its Android Cloud Environment client runs on the company’s Virtual Mobile Infrastructure platform and has been placed in the transport layer security apps section of NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified Program Components list.

The company built the ACE technology in partnership with the Defense Department.

The software is designed to allow users to remotely access virtual mobile systems that are intended to operate on public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Hypori is also seeking Protection Profile and Federal Information Processing Standards Level 1 certifications for the ACE platform.
