GSA Launches Online Search Tool for eBuy Quote Requests

GSAThe General Services Administration has developed a new online tool designed to help government agencies see the types of products and services that federal buyers request from GSA Schedules, GSA said in blog post published Tuesday.

Cynthia Schell, director of the Common Acquisition Platform Governance Division at GSA, writes the eBuy Open platform intends to help buyers quickly look for canceled, closed and open eBuy requests for quotations for commercial supplies and services offered under the agency’s acquisition vehicles.

Through the online tool, agencies can also view “how other buyers draft their documents to get the best quotes from industry, and when specific products and services are purchased,” Schell stated.

She noted that the eBuy Open tool is accessible via the Acquisition Gateway.
