Mary Davie: New Labor Categories, Cyber Standards to Feature in Alliant 2 Vehicles

The General Services Administration has notified industry about the latest iterations of three contract vehicles for federal information technology products and service offerings.

Mary Davie, assistant commissioner of the integrated technology service office at GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service, wrote in a blog post published Wednesday the agency has proposed new labor categories, cybersecurity and environmental standards and contracting requirements for the Alliant 2 and Alliant 2 Small Business contracts.

GSA also plans to award more companies positions on the Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II vehicle in late fiscal 2016 or early fiscal 2017, according to Davie.

She said the will consider recommendations from responses to a request for information on the Veterans Technology Services 2 to develop the follow-on contract.
