1 min read

GSAThe General Services Administration‘s 18F organization has released a new style guide for the documentation of open source projects at government agencies.

Melody Kramer of 18F’s content team writes Wednesday that the Open Source Style Guide provides a checklist to help ensure that the documentation is clear to both internal and external audiences.

User-friendly documentation on open source projects facilitates greater accessibility to organizations’ code repositories, Kramer adds.

She noted that the style guide also allows flexibility to adapt to the needs of a particular agency or organization.
