Michael Jabaley Named US Navy Submarines Program Executive Officer

Rear Adm. Michael Jabaley Jr., commander of the naval undersea warfare center at Naval Sea Systems Command, has been appointed as program executive officer for submarines.

Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan Greenert announced Jabaley’s appointment on Wednesday.

Jabaley previously served as vice commander of Naval Sea Systems Command and was assigned as NAVSEA deputy commander for Undersea Warfare in July 2013.

He added the role ofΒ commander of Naval Undersea Warfare Center to his responsibilities in September 2014.

Jabaley served as assistant program manager for the Virginia Class Submarine Program Office’s warfare requirements and test and evaluation in January 2006.
