cybersecurityThe National Security Agency has rolled out a new cybersecurity tool intended to help the public and private sectors build up their cyber postures.

NSA said Thursday it has shared the systems integrity management platform on its GitHub account as an open source service.

“The open-source community can leverage the work that NSA has produced, and the government can benefit from that community’s expertise and perspective,” said Linda Burger, director of NSA’s technology transfer program.

The cyber tool is designed to help organizations comply with security requirements.

NSA also sought to remove duplicate services and aid collaboration within the open-source community.
