The Census Bureau is looking for a professional to serve in dual roles as associate director for information technology and chief information officer.The bureau said in a USAJobs notice the ADITCIO will oversee enterprise IT programs and services as well as advise the bureau’s director and deputy director on data resource and systems management issues.
The incumbent will also work with the bureau’s chief financial officer to include data from IT portfolio analyses when the bureau prepares its annual budget.
According to the bureau, the chosen executive will also oversee screening, recruitment, hiring and performance of IT program management professionals.
ADITCIO is a full-time Senior Executive Service position requiring Top Secret-level security clearance.
