Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group Appoints Three Co-Chairs; David Hantman Comments

cloudThe Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group has appointed Reps. Barbara Comstock (R-VA), Ted Lieu (D-CA) and Mark Walker (R-NC) as three new co-chairs.

The three new caucus co-chairs will join founding member Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and Labor Department Chief Information Officer Dawn Leaf at the bipartisan member organization, the group said Tuesday.

“We’re delighted to welcome the new co-chairs, and look forward to a strong schedule of programs and initiatives,” said David Hantman, executive director of Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group.

The organization aims to educate lawmakers on the benefits and potential of cloud computing.

The group plans to hold an educational briefing in late 2015 and a discussion on cloud budget in February 2016.
