GSA’s 18F Unveils Cloud.gov IaaS Platform for Web App Development

cloudThe General Services Administration‘s 18F organization has launched the Cloud.gov website to provide an infrastructure-as-a-service cloud platform to support the development, testing and management of Web applications, FierceGovernmentIT reported Thursday.

Molly Bernhart Walker writes that Cloud.gov works to facilitate application development at agencies without the need to use a new environment.

The website also provides software stacks and templates that agencies can utilize to build out system security measures to help accelerate the authorization process, the report said.
