Nick Brethauer and Colin MacArthur, user-experience designers at 18F, write in a blog article published Nov. 20 that GSA’s digital services team uses a lean approach to build software and track intended outcomes of a platform.

They said their interactive guide offers a template for digital professionals to plan and execute a project, distill assumptions into hypothesis, manage the product development process and apply an agile method to user research.
