Adm. Michael Rogers, director of the National Security Agency, believes that the agency can take a leadership role in the standardization of IT operations across the Intelligence Community, FCW reported Wednesday.

Sean Lyngaas writes Rogers told his audience at a recent Intelligence and National Security Alliance event that he fully supports the implementation of the Intelligence Community IT Enterprise.

Rogers described the initiative as “foundational to the future,” the report said.

NSA is currently in preparations for a reorganization in January as the agency seeks to boost innovation, collaboration and workforce development.
