President-elect Donald Trump plans to nominate Steven Mnuchin as treasury secretary, Wilbur Ross as commerce secretary and Todd Ricketts as deputy commerce secretary.
Mnuchin, Ross and Ricketts will help implement Trump’s America First economic plan that aims to create more than 25 million jobs over the next 10 years, according to a press release published Wednesday.
Mnuchin previously worked as chief information officer at Goldman Sachs and finance director for Trump’s presidential campaign.
He founded Dune Capital Management, OneWest Bank Group and RatPac-Dune Entertainment.
Ross led Rothschild Inc. where he helped restructure bankrupt companies toward profitability.
He also started investment firm WL Ross & Co. and served as Trump’s top economic adviser on trade policy.
Ricketts is a co-owner of the Chicago Cubs baseball team and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago.
