Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented Chris Marzilli, executive vice president of General Dynamics, with his third Wash100 award on Monday.

Executive Mosaic recognizes Marzilli for building mission systems and earning multiple major contracts. We are honored to present the most coveted award in government contracting to Chris Marzilli and General Dynamics.

Marzilli joined GTE Government Systems in 1981. He began his tenure with General Dynamics in 1999 after the company acquired GTE. He became a deputy general manager in 2003 and served for three years before being named vice president in 2006.  Marzilli was appointed the president of General Dynamic Mission Systems in 2015. He succeeded Dan Johnson as executive vice president on Jan. 1, 2019 after Johnson retired at the end of 2018.

Prior to being named president of Mission Systems, he was president of General Dynamics C4 Systems, from 2006 to 2014. Marzilli has served as the director of the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship program since 2012. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Middlebury College in 1981.
