The U.S. Mint, a bureau of the Treasury Department, selected the Unisys Corporation as one of five companies to compete for task orders under a five-year, $70 million contract that calls for IT services supporting the agency’s mission, Unisys announced on Friday.

Under the Digital Enterprise Services contract, Unisys will compete for task orders for services including cybersecurity, cloud migration, infrastructure operations and service desk. The contract is a new addition to the support Unisys provides other Treasury bureaus such as the Internal Revenue Service and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

“We welcome this opportunity to expand our business into a new agency within the U.S. Department of the Treasury,” said Melissa Carson, group vice president, civilian agencies, Unisys Federal. “Unisys looks forward to competing for work to help the U.S. Mint make its comprehensive IT operations more efficient and secure.”
