Steampunk Names Matt Warren as CEO to Expand New Market Sectors; Matt Warren Quoted

Steampunk has  appointed Matt Warren as  chief executive officer (CEO) to lead the enterprise in drive growth, the company announced on Wednesday.

"Our servant-based leadership model brings a relentless commitment to mission impact and achieving 'shared success' with our clients," said Matt Warren, the company's new Chief Executive Officer. 

Warren will focus on expanding into new market sectors and capabilities, and positively disrupting the way government services are delivered. He will utilize his 24 years of Federal Government technology sales experience to build, oversee and grow Steampunk. 

Prior to his position, he served as chief operations officer (COO) for the company between July 2019 and Feb. 2020. He also served as COO with SE Solutions from May 2019 and Feb. 2020. He worked with Accenture Federal Services (AFS) for four years before joining Steampunk.

As safety and citizen services portfolio lead with the company between Nov. 2017 and Feb. 2019, Warren led Accenture's team to assist homeland security, law enforcement and first-response agencies achieve strategic and operational goals for critical public safety objectives as well as supporting education and commerce missions.

With AFS, he served as managing director from March 2015 and Nov. 2017. In the role, he was responsible for the IT and digital services portfolio serving the Department of Homeland Security, focused on developing targeted solutions to DHS’ mission-critical IT challenges.

Between Oct. 2008 and March 2015, Warren worked with Agilex Technologies where he held the position of president of the  Justice and Homeland Security Sector, where he led the sales within the sector. 

At Oracle, Warren served as branch manager of federal civilian sales between June 198 and Sept. 2008. He was responsible for one third of Federal Civilian Sales including Department of Homeland Security, State Department, Department of Justice and Civilian International Accounts. Warren began his career at GTSI, where he served as an insider sales representative.
