Federal Chief Information Officer Suzette Kent has said the initial test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System seeks to reflect the role of mobile platforms in advancing the federal government’s digital transformation efforts, MeriTalk reported Wednesday. “That in itself is a testament to how digital and mobile is a connectivity point between citizens and government,” Kent said of the first official test.
