Deloitte AI Institute announced Monday a new partnership with Chatterbox Labs to develop Model Insights for Trustworthy AI, a Deloitte-branded product that will assist organizations address artificial intelligence (AI) ethics by monitoring, updating, and validating private and public sector AI models. "Rapid developments in AI have unlocked incredible opportunities for organizations globally," concluded Ammanath. 

Deloitte Digital, in partnership with Salesforce, has introduced a new offering that will combine its experience in large scale contact center transformations and human-centered design to enhance customer experience for contact centers. "Deloitte Digital is focused on elevating the human experience for customers, members, citizens and agents – and with Salesforce, we can enhance the way service is performed at every touchpoint," said Dave Couture of Deloitte.

Deloitte has appointed Matt Gentile, the company’s principal with Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics, as the new head of Deloitte’s government and public services Advisory practice. “In the last decade at Deloitte, I’ve had the pleasure of serving dozens of dynamic clients with world-class talent in our government practice,” said Gentile. 

Raj Iyer, formerly a managing director in the government and public services practice at Deloitte Consulting, has been named as the U.S. Army's first civilian chief information officer. Iyer assumes his new position after the separation of the Army's CIO/G-6 organization into two functions as part of efforts to address multidomain operational requirements across the information technology and cyber domains.

Deloitte and The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) have published a 2020 Cybersecurity Study, "States at Risk: The Cybersecurity Imperative in Uncertain Times," Deloitte reported on Wednesday. The study has been created through responses from 51 U.S. state and territory enterprise-level chief information security officers (CISOs). 

The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded its multiple year, $9.9 million contract to Deloitte Consulting and Esper through GSA's Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) authority. The Centers of Excellence (CoE), within the agency’s FAS Technology Transformation Services (TTS) office, and the Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) have collaborated to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology solutions.

The Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Artificial Intelligence Center is working with Deloitte to develop a prototype of a cloud platform that could enable developers to create uses for AI under an $80 million contract awarded in August 2020. Mulchandani said the JCF will accommodate open-source platforms and other development tools.

Deloitte has recently released its Midyear Aerospace and Defense Industry Outlook that has analyzed the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the commercial aerospace, defense sectors and Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity, the company reported on Thursday. 

Deloitte has appointed Dr. Asif Dhar to succeed Doug Beaudoin, former chief information officer. Dhar will lead the company’s  life sciences and health care (LSHC) practice in the United States effective immediately, Deloitte reported on Monday. 

Deloitte has launched a suite of cloud-based solutions to help leaders establish and deploy the strategy and capabilities to address the challenges facing their communities and combat the spread of COVID-19, while overseeing the recovery of public services and economic activity, the company reported on Tuesday.
