L3Harris Technologies has announced that the company will lead a team, including CAE, CymSTAR, Dell Technologies and Leidos, to help transform the U.S. Air Force’s flight simulator training used to help develop highly skilled air crews. USAF Concludes Effort to Replace A-10 Aircraft Wings

The U.S. Air Force's 571st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron has concluded an effort to replace the wings of a certain close air support aircraft. The group installed 162 wing pairs on A-10 Thunderbolt II units at Hill Air Force Base for the A-10 Enhanced Wing Assembly replacement program's final wave, Hill AFB said Saturday.

Air Forces Plans to Purchase New A-10 Aircraft Wings

The U.S. Air Force is selecting sources for an upcoming contractual effort to rebuild wings of the A-10 support aircraft, Military.com reported Tuesday. Ann Stefanek, an Air Force spokeswoman, said the branch is allotting $267 milllion to purchase 20 wings through the A-10-Thunderbolt II Advanced-Wing Continuation Kit program's next contract.
