OPM Appraisal Tool Selected as Igniting Innovation Awards Finalist

A software platform used by the Office of Personnel Management has been recognized by the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council as one of the 40 finalists in the Igniting Innovation Awards. The USA Performance tool assists government agencies to automate appraisal processes and electronically sign performance plans, OPM said May 22.

Federal agencies are modernizing their information technology systems driven by the need to improve customer experience, FCW reported Tuesday. "Customer experience matters a lot. It can drive operational efficiencies, savings, cost avoidance. It can make your employees happier,” Anahita Reilly, chief customer officer at the General Services Administration, said Tuesday at ACT-IAC's CX summit.
