Air Force Research Lab Tests Engine for Gray Wolf Cruise Missile Program


The Air Force Research Laboratory conducted the first test of a turbojet engine designed to support low-cost cruise missiles as part of the Gray Wolf program, FlightGlobal reported Saturday. AFRL partnered with Northrop Grumman and Technical Directions to design and develop the TDI-J85 engine and associated cruise missiles.
