USDA Modernizing IT Operations Under Trump’s IDEA Act

The Department of Agriculture is modernizing its services as part of the Trump administration’s 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act, Federal News Network reported Friday. The IDEA Act, signed into law in December 2018, directed agencies to establish a strategy to modernize their websites by June 20 and provide electronic access to all paper-based documentation by 2020.

GSA Eyes Expansion of Centers of Excellence Program

The General Services Administration is looking to implement centers of excellence in three additional agencies this year to further support President Donald Trump's management agenda, Fedscoop reported Wednesday. Anil Cheriyan, who leads the agency's Technology Transformation Service, said that GSA is currently discussing on how to move forward with the CoE program and may announce the next participating agency next month.
