NASA, FEMA to Support International Asteroid Impact Simulation

NASA and the Federal Emergency Management Agency are planning to conduct an asteroid impact simulation with international partners. President Trump intends to nominate Jeffrey Byard, associate administrator for response and recovery at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, as administrator of FEMA within the Department of Homeland Security.
