Roger Stone Appointed White House IT Director

Roger Stone, formerly deputy senior director of resilience policy of the National Security Council, has been named director of information technology at the White House, FedScoop reported Monday. He succeeds Chris Herndon, who served as head of IT for two years, and will serve as chief information officer of the executive offices of the president and vice president.

Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard: House Democrats Propose DHS Support Efforts Amid Limited Budget

DHS’ Sorrea Correa Notifies Industry on Submission of Responses to RFIs, RFPs Amid Funding Lapse

Soraya Correa, chief procurement officer at the Department of Homeland Security, has released a notice to guide the industry on the submission of responses to requests for information and solicitations issued on or before Dec. 21. According to a FedBizOpps notice published Thursday, the document does not cover the procurement and contracting actions of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Federal Emergency Management Agency and Federal Protective Services.

GAO: 2017 Hurricane-Related Federal Contracts Hit $5.6B
