NASA Announces Three Payload Suites for Lunar Surface Research Efforts

NASA has selected through the Payloads and Research Investigations on the Surface of the Moon (PRISM) call for proposals three payload suites to support scientific investigations on the lunar surface. David Blewett of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory will lead the Lunar Vertex joint lander and rover payload suite that is headed to Reiner Gamma, also known as lunar swirl.

FCC OKs SpaceX to Provide COMSAT-Based Broadband Services

The Federal Communications Commission has authorized SpaceX to provide satellite-based broadband services across the U.S. and the globe.
