Heidi Grant to End Tenure as DSCA Director

Heidi Grant, director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), will step down from her role and transition out of the federal government. She has served as DSCA's director since August 2020 and has contributed 32 years of service to the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, Joint Staff and other Department of Defense components, DSCA said Tuesday.

DSCA Looks to Promote Asset Transfer Option in Foreign Military Sales Program


The Defense Security Cooperation Agency is looking to promote a third-party transfer option for U.S. allies and partner nations that do not have large defense budgets to procure aircraft or weapons systems through the Department of Defense's foreign military sales program. Col. Anthony Walker, senior materiel leader in the Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate's international division, said DSCA Director Heidi Grant is exploring financing options the agency could offer to potential FMS clients.
