The Office of Management and Budget has issued a draft memorandum that would direct federal agencies to transition to Internet Protocol Version 6. A Federal Register notice published Monday says the draft memo seeks to relay the requirements needed to complete the operational IPv6 deployment across all federal data systems and services and help agencies address obstacles to moving to IPv6-only systems.
