DOJ’s CIO Joe Klimavicz Appointed to Serve Additionally as Chief Data Officer

Joe Klimavicz, chief information officer at the Department of Justice, has been appointed to additionally serve as DOJ's chief data officer, Fedscoop reported Tuesday. He will concurrently function as DOJ's CIO and CDO. The CDO is tasked to lead a data governance body of his respective agency, as mandated under the Open, Public, Electronic and Necessary Government Data Act.
