Adm. Stuart Munsch to Lead Navy’s New Education-Focused Directorate

The U.S. Navy has established a new warfighting development directorate with Vice Adm. Stuart Munsch's appointment as leader, USNI News reported Tuesday. The new directorate, known as OPNAV N7, would work to align the service branch's schools, such as the Naval Academy, with a variety of activities including exercises, studies and experiments.

John Kroger, newly appointed chief learning officer at the Department of the Navy, seeks to establish a force of thinkers and has been working with officials to organize DON's education system, USNI News reported Monday. As CLO, he carries the task to organize the United States Naval Academy, the future Naval Community College, Marine Corps University and other academic institutions within DON.
