Perspecta Labs Wins Contract to Develop DoD Spectrum Access Manager

Perspecta Labs has been awarded a three-year, $6.2 million prime contract to develop a spectrum access manager for the Department of Defense (DoD) under the National Spectrum Consortium's Spectrum Base Agreement. “Perspecta Labs will leverage its leading expertise in RF spectrum solutions to design, develop, integrate and demonstrate a spectrum access management and planning tool,” said Petros Mouchtaris, Ph.D., president of Perspecta Labs.

USAF Downselects Northrop Grumman as Sole Contractor for F-16 Electronic Warfare Suite

The U.S. Air Force has downselected Northrop Grumman to complete the final project efforts to provide the electronic warfare suite for the service branch’s F-16 fighter aircraft fleet, the company reported on Monday. Northrop Grumman’s offering will work to protect pilots from radio frequency-guided weapons by detecting, identifying and defeating advanced threat systems.
