Americans Remain Satisfied With Postal Service

The U.S. Postal Service took the top spot in a new poll by analytics and advisory firm Gallup that ranked the federal agencies based on the satisfaction of Americans. USPS received the highest rating, with 74 percent of respondents saying the agency is doing an "excellent" or "good" job, Gallup said Monday. The agency also ranked first place in 2014, 2017 and 2018.

Secret Service Lead Randolph Alles Joins DHS as Head of Management

Randolph Alles, former director of the U.S. Secret Service, has been appointed acting deputy under secretary for management at the Department of Homeland Security, replacing former Deputy Under Secretary Chip Fulghum. He will oversee management programs, including financial, human capital, information technology, procurement, security and asset management, Kevin McAleenan, acting homeland security secretary and 2019 Wash100 Award winner, said in a statement posted Friday. Alles left his role with the Secret Service last week after two years.
