Tiffany Hixson: GSA Eyes Expanded Service Offerings for Multiple-Award Contracts Following OASIS Conclusion

The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) concluded on-ramp activities for the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) vehicle and looks to launch a “services marketplace” initiative to improve its governmentwide services contracts. GSA plans to establish a “broader and more flexible” vehicle known as the Best-in-Class Multi-Agency Contract that would replace OASIS following its expiration in 2024, said Hixson.

The General Services Administration (GSA) plans to issue a Civilian Enterprise Office Solutions (CEOS) contract as it works to develop the Polaris vehicle for small businesses. Laura Stanton, assistant commissioner of ITC, added that the GSA is concurrently planning to release a draft of the Polaris contract  “in the fairly near future”.

Laura Stanton Offers Update on GSA’s STARS III, Polaris Small Business IT GWACs

Laura Stanton, assistant commissioner of the office of information technology category at the General Services Administration (GSA), said GSA plans to award the potential $50 billion STARS III governmentwide acquisition contract set aside for small IT businesses in fiscal year 2021. Stanton said a draft solicitation for another small business IT GWAC, Polaris, will be released soon on the beta SAM website.
