CISA Opens Internet Security Guide Draft to Public

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has released the draft of an updated internet security guide that was shaped with respect to the progression of technology. The new Trusted Internet Connections 3.0 draft takes cloud computing, mobile device and encryption standards into consideration, Matt Hartman, director of network resilience at CISA, said in a blog post published Friday.

Agencies Advance Trusted Internet Connections Pilots

Several agencies have begun conducting pilots of the updated Trusted Internet Connections policy even if the policy is not yet finalized, FedScoop reported Tuesday. The Office of Management and Budget released the draft TIC 3.0 policy in December, which intends to build network security across the government and eliminate barriers to the adoption of cloud and other tech platforms.
