ODNI, FBI, DHS and DOJ Express Concern Over Threats to US Elections

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Department of Justice, FBI and Department of Homeland Security recently issued a joint statement expressing concern over the threat posed by foreign actors attempting to influence U.S. elections. The four intelligence community members specifically identified China, Iran and Russia as being involved in campaigns that seek to undermine the integrity of the electoral process.

Trump Issues Executive Order to Deter Foreign Election Interference

President Donald Trump has released an executive order that aims to protect U.S. elections from potential foreign interference. A White House fact sheet published Wednesday says the executive order would authorize sanctions and other measures against foreign individuals found to have engaged in election interference.
