Americans Remain Satisfied With Postal Service

The U.S. Postal Service took the top spot in a new poll by analytics and advisory firm Gallup that ranked the federal agencies based on the satisfaction of Americans. USPS received the highest rating, with 74 percent of respondents saying the agency is doing an "excellent" or "good" job, Gallup said Monday. The agency also ranked first place in 2014, 2017 and 2018.

Report: US Postal Service Made $16B Contract Deals in FY18

The U.S. Postal Service completed $15.9B in contracts in fiscal year 2018, representing the agency’s largest commercial spending period since 2016, Bloomberg Government reported Friday. The figure was nearly $1B higher than the $15B record set in 2017. Spending data was drawn from Bloomberg Government’s latest data on the USPS Contracts Dashboard.

Report: 31% of Federal Agency Websites Missed HTTPS Migration Deadline

The General Services Administration‘s Pulse dashboard shows that 31 percent of federal agency websites did not meet the Office of Management and Budget‘s Dec. 31, 2016 deadline to migrate to the HTTPS communications protocol, FCW reported Tuesday.
