Aneesh Chopra, the nationâs chief technology officer, asked for public feedback in a White house blog post earlier this month on increasing transparency in government.
Many respondents asked questions regarding the Open Government Plan, leading Chopra to respond with another blog post Monday.
The Open Government Plan is part of the White Houseâs Open Government Initiative, in response to a memorandum from President Barack Obama to increase transparency in government.
âFederal agencies have done a great deal to make information about how government works more accessible to the public,â Chopra wrote.
All agencies were required to develop their own Open Government Plans in Dec. 2009.
Chopra asked for feedback on questions regarding electronic record management, sharing enforcement and compliance information and best practices used by other countries.
