The Defense Department has promoted Ruth Moser, a former program analyst, to serve as director of space programs and policy in the office of the under secretary for acquisition, technology and logistics.

With that promotion, the Pentagon announced Moser also elevates to the Senior Executive Service.

She formerly served as an analyst in that same office, according to the release.

Last week, the Pentagon announced the promotion of Randall Conway to the SES and assignment as a principal director in the office of the chief information officer.

Conway now serves as the office’s principal director for command, control, communications and computers and infrastructure.
