By Light Professional IT Services announced on Thursday that Mike Bowser has been promoted to become the company’s new chief operating officer. In addition, Mike Hatcher has joined By Light as the chief revenue officer. These appointments will be effective immediately and intend to reinforce and expand current and future capabilities.

Bowser joined By Light as the senior vice president of Business Development in 2004. For the last 15 years, he’s led business development and operations for that group as well as initiating and managing By Light’s Quality Management System, SATCOM, and Integration lines of business. As COO, Bowser will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensure excellence in program execution and focus on customer and employee satisfaction.
Hatcher joined the company back in April as the CRO after 30 years of experience in defense, security and intelligence businesses. As CRO, he will drive development of new capabilities and accelerate growth in each of By Light’s businesses and markets. Previously, Hatcher has served in a range of senior leadership positions with General Dynamics Information Technology, SAIC, Unisys and other companies.
Hatcher still serves as an advisory council board member for the Global SOF Foundation.
