The General Services Administration announced the release of the paper by DEVCOM AvMC’s Contracting Integrated Product Team, also called IPT, through a notice published Thursday.

According to the document, DEVCOM AvMC analyzed the current state of contracting within the center and found that it has a total of 86 contracts, including 38 contracts that are eligible for consolidation.

DEVCOM AvMC Center Staff has two contracts that are suitable and eligible for consolidation — mailroom services and reception services contracts.

Meanwhile, Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration, or S3I, has the HDSS Task Order that is both eligible and suitable for consolidation.

The Systems Readiness Directorate, or SRD, has two contracts that are eligible and suitable for consolidation. The Apache Division Engineering Support and SOAD Systems Engineering Support contracts are in the final phases of being awarded as a single, consolidated contract.

Under SRD, eight engineering services contracts will be continuously assessed for potential consolidation as performance period end dates approach.

The information paper also offers updates on strategic contracting initiatives, including the training of contracting officers’ representatives and the incorporation of an automated tool into the DEVCOM AvMC Contract Tracking System.
