Lumen Technologies has launched Data Access Accelerator, a managed service that runs on the Lumen Platform, to help businesses access and leverage greater amounts of data. Lumen’s solution will allow unstructured, file-based data to be acquired and processed from different locations.
"With Lumen Data Access Accelerator, we give organizations access to their data across secure networks, so files stored thousands of miles away load as if they were stored locally,” said David Shacochis, vice president of enterprise technology and field CTO for Lumen Technologies.
Lumen’s Data Access Accelerator will improve productivity with near real-time file access, enabling businesses to gain further insights from their data. The solution has also featured an adaptable infrastructure that can adjust to changing business needs, minimizing reliance on IT to build new infrastructure for data storage and transfer.

Lumen’s Data Access Accelerator will strengthen data integrity and security from executing on files at the point of origin, and will advance competitiveness by obtaining value from data faster. The offering also features a simplified data management lifecycle, fully managed and monitored by Lumen.
