Splunk Inc. announced on Tuesday that Splunk Cloud has received FedRAMP authorization at a moderate impact level from the General Services Administration (GSA) FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO).
The authorization brings Splunk Cloud to agencies that are working to eliminate the barrier between data and action. Federal agencies and their partners will now be able to leverage the assurance of the FedRAMP program to solve their toughest IT, security and IoT challenges with Splunk’s Data-to-Everything Platform.

FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. Agencies can leverage the FedRAMP Marketplace to select Cloud Service Providers with services that meet their mission requirements
Thousands of public sector organizations worldwide are leveraging the Splunk Data-to-Everything platform, including all three branches of the U.S. government and 15 cabinet-level departments.
