By Light Professional IT Services, LLC announced on Tuesday that Tim Grattan has become the senior vice president of Cyberspace Operations for the company.
Previously, Grattan served as the vice president of Cyberspace Operations since joining By Light in May 2015. Prior to his tenure with By Light, Grattan served in the U.S. Marine Corps. For 25 years and retired as a colonel in April 2015.
Over the course of his career, Grattan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in English/General Engineering Technology & Design from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1990, a Master’s Degree in Operational Studies from the School of Advanced Warfighting in 2005 and a second Master’s Degree in National Security Studies from the National War College in 2011.

By Light announced on May 20th that the company has acquired Metova Federal LLC, a leading provider of cyber range and cyber training services to the US Government. Grattan will oversee all of the product development, technical support and delivery operations of Metova and its industry-leading CyberCENTS offering, as it is integrated into By Light’s Cyber line of business.
