J.P. London Receives U.S. Navy Memorial Lone Sailor Award

CACI International announced that Dr. J.P. London, CACI’s executive chairman and chairman of the Board, has received the 2019 U.S. Navy Memorial Lone Sailor Award, CACI announced on Monday.

I am proud to receive this award, and grateful for the opportunity to instill the Navy’s core values of honor, courage, and commitment in all we do at CACI.”

The award recognizes sea service veterans who have excelled with distinction in their respective careers during or after their service. The Lone Sailor is the iconic symbol of the Navy Memorial’s mission to honor, recognize and celebrate the men and women of the sea services, past, present, and future, and to inform the public about their service.

London was honored with the award during a ceremony on Sept. 19th at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. 

In his over 46 years of leadership at CACI, London has overseen its growth from a small professional services firm to becoming a trusted leader in meeting the federal government’s greatest enterprise and mission challenges. Dr. London has served on the U.S. Navy Memorial’s Board of Directors since 2008.

In addition, London is a 1959 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a 1967 graduate of Naval Postgraduate School, Recently, London was also awarded with the U.S. Naval Academy 2019 Distinguished Graduate Award.
