St. John joined Lockheed Martin more than 30 years ago and took on roles of increasing responsibility in engineering and program management before joining the corporation's executive leadership team. Most recently, he has served as executive vice president of RMS and prior to that as executive vice president of Missiles and Fire Control.

In the role, St. John helped guide RMS, a $16 billion gross enterprise employing 34,000 people across the globe, with approximately 10 percent in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, United Kingdom and other countries.

Lockheed Martin’s board of directors appointed St. John and Scott Greene to new executive vice president roles, which went into effect Aug. 26, 2019. St. John has brought “a commitment to excellence and strong customer focus to their respective business areas,” Marillyn Hewson, former chairman, president and CEO of Lockheed Martin and a 2019 Wash100 Award winner.
