Hughes Network Systems has partnered with vXchnge, an award-winning colocation provider, to deploy Hughes’ JUPITER™ System platform in vXchnge's data center, Hughes announced on Wednesday.

Hughes’ JUPITER systems, a High-Throughput Satellite (HTS) platform, has operated on more than 40 satellites by leading service providers and delivered a wide range of broadband enterprise, mobility and cellular backhaul applications.
The JUPITER System is a next-generation, very small aperture terminal (VSAT) platform for broadband services over both high-throughput and conventional satellites. JUPITER has enabled operators to gain further capacity and efficiency for satellite broadband implementation.
With the integration, HTS and conventional satellite network operators can support an advanced range of applications across all market sectors, including high-speed Internet access, distance learning, digital signage and media solutions, enterprise and government networking solutions.
The vXchnge data centers will promote Hughes’ growth and edge markets. In addition, vXchnge's facilities will support ERP and cloud customers in the industry. The partnership will secure infrastructure and service availability for installations and connectivity across multiple providers and markets.
