Trump Nominates Dale Cabaniss for OPM Director

Dale Cabaniss, former chairman of the Federal Labor Relations Authority, was nominated to serve as director of the Office of Personnel Management, the White House said Monday. The nomination is for a four-year term.

Cabaniss, who worked in the Senate and the civil service, most recently held the role of Republican staff director for the Senate Appropriations Committee’s subcommittee on financial services and general government. Earlier in her career, she served as counsel for the Senate committee on homeland security and governmental affairs subcommittee. She holds a juris doctor degree from the Catholic University of America and a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Georgia.
